Parasite

230x45x45 (x3) cm / Ceramics, MDF / 2019

I take and return.

I take and return.

I take and return.

The Parasite feeds on its Host.

Slowly, it breaks down the body,

while expansively spreading itself throughout every reachable spectrum in the process.

As it grows, the Host succumbs to the decomposition.

A daunting spectacle foretold only by the diminutive specks of alien-like growths on the exterior of the body.

The sight of such forms define the certainty of the end.

Such phenomena also enable the preservation and stimulation of new life.

A necessary mechanism designed for the continuation of the whole.

Acts of intervention remain futile when opposed by the Machine.
